Quick Info
Prior to her death Night Sky was a Wild Warden; a Sylvan Elf who protected and patrolled the Sylvan Forest. Due to her contracting tuberculosis at a young (for an elf) age and knowing she would die not long after, she took on more and more dangerous jobs as a Wild Warden, even going so far as to venture into the neighboring Forest of Dreams ( a place full of fae and dangerous magics that many often lose their way in ) and helping people navigate their way out.
After being fatefully rescued one day by an archfey called the Green Knight, Night Sky vowed to aid the Fae for as long as she could before she died. Thanks to her meddling she would inevitably come face to face with a banished archfey called the Horned God and be forced to clean up the mess he made in a god-level tantrum.
After her death the Green Knight noted her dedication and kind heart and imbued her with Fey energy, slowly transforming her into a Dryad and allowing her to continue her fight with the Horned God for all of eternity.

abilities
background
- Born to two wild elves in the Sylvan Forest, and lived a fairly normal and boring life with her parents. Her mother and father were both trained with staves and taught her to defend herself from numerous dangers around their home, including hobgoblins, the rare roving band of orcs, and even humans just in case she happened across the more unpleasant sort - like nasty nasty bandits.
- Joined the Wild Wardens at age 100 or so, and patrolled the area around her home and neighboring village of Deep Shade for dangers. Accidentally wandered into the Forest of Dreams (the section of land held by elder Fae Precina and full of various fae creatures. Extremely magical, dense, and difficult to navigate even with knowledge of the area, given the illusions and tricks the Fae often have in place to keep outsiders out - or in, depending on how you look at it) while chasing down a group of goblins, and was inevitably lost for days with no means of finding a way out.
- Found by one of the many lakes by a knight in green armor, claiming himself the guardian of the lake and the fortress nearby and demanding to know why she was there. After explaining herself and that she meant no harm, the knight showed her to the path out and sent her home. Unfortunately, now she was enraptured by the knight and his home and thought to go in again to see if she could find him.
- Started purposefully exploring the forest bit by bit, learning to navigate around the more dangerous parts and to try and see through illusions. Was hurt on more than one occasion thanks to her curiosity, but always seemed to make it out just in time, as if helped by some unseen force she claimed to be the green knight every single time.
- Contracted the consumption (tuberculosis) at age 124, along with her parents. Both parents perished shortly afterwards, but Night Sky managed to outlive them for another 22 years, using the time she had to become a little more bold in her adventures in the forest.
- Became known as the Wild Warden of the Forest of Dreams; aka the only Sylvan willing to venture far into the forest to help those that were lost find their way out. Was asked by a few fae to retrieve and apprehend criminals that stole offerings or other magical items.
- During one such retrieval, she accidentally enraged a petty Archfae, the Horned God, who had been forcefully banished from the forest of dreams and demanded she not return his former brethren's trinkets. By not listening to him, he decided to get his revenge by attacking the local Sylvan settlements, his broad assumption being that, because of Night Sky's actions, that all elves were to blame.
- The forest was plagued with the Horned God's beastmen, and Night Sky along with a few friends ventured out to seek help from the Green Knight, knowing they could not fight them all off themselves. Unfortunately, the Green Knight did not accept (at first), and Night Sky perished on the way back to the Sylvan Forest, determined to the end to defend her home.
- Seeing her resolve, the Green Knight revived her and made her a Dryad now bound to his service. In return, she would wage war against the Horned God and his beastmen each time they showed their faces, eventually becoming more and more Fae than elf over the hundreds of years she would fight them.
